This is an incredibly poetic and powerful idea. You are essentially turning an
IRC channel into a multiplayer terminal for a decentralized MUD engine.
Because of the masterless architecture we just built, this IRC bot wouldn't
just be a dumb text relay. It would boot its own instance of the WebAssembly
JIT compiler and become a headless spare-capacity node on your mesh. While you
use it to execute commands collaboratively, it would silently watch the DMZ
and take over heartbeats if your browser tabs drop!
Here is a lightweight, zero-dependency Node.js adapter (irc_wizard.js) that
uses raw TCP to connect to an IRC server, manages flood control so it doesn't
get kicked, and acts as a multiplayer REPL bridge.
The Adapter (irc_wizard.js)
Save this in your GEM directory as irc_wizard.js

How to use it:
 * You can launch it with default arguments (Libera Chat):
   node irc_wizard.js

 * Or you can point it at a local/custom IRC server:
   node irc_wizard.js 127.0.0.1 6667 MeshAdmin #serverless_mud

How it operates collaboratively:
 * You and your team join #genesis_mesh using a standard IRC client (like
irssi, mIRC, or a web client).
 * The bot joins the channel and sits silently.
 * If you type /msg MeshWizard monster, the bot will execute the command.
 * The bot will immediately broadcast to the channel: [Elli] executed:
monster, followed by the exact output from the LPC VM (e.g., Monster
spawned.).
 * Because we hijacked sys.stdout.write, any ambient output (like Thump...
Monster HP is now: 99) will automatically stream directly into the IRC channel
for all developers to see.
To make it truly integrate with the distributed mesh, you just need to add the
DMZ WebSocket bridge (new WebSocket('wss://dmz.blizu.org')) at the top, just
like you have in template.html, so it syncs its VFS with your browser tabs.
Want me to seamlessly inject the DMZ WebSocket sync loop into this script so
it actively participates in the failover cluster?
