Became a newbie helper today. Feels kind of warm and fuzzy. It's actually kind of nice to be able to help newbies on their questions and all. Helps to prevent cluelessness among newbies, I think. And the less clueless the newbies are... the less highbies pick on them. A win-win situation.
What the hell is wrong with merchants these days? Are they having too much fun idling? Don't they want money? Fudgeing heck. Can't fukken get one lousy ID. Not to mention something else.
Got another blade of death. Now this reinc is looking up for a change. What I need now is patience to get 10 or 11 levels more and pump up slash, dodge, parry, combat sense, etc...
Finally got a divine glory sword. Which proved not to be dwarf wieldable after all... Even though it's only a bit over 3 kg. Force wielding apparently takes 75% of the damage away, and mostly dwarf seems to hit like a girl in any case. This is Bat logic at its best. Str means shit, size is all that matters?
Making reinc exp is a bitch. I know a 55% cleave sucks, but with "batmud logic", a 55% skill fails 6 out of 8. That's really sweet. Shouldn't 55% mean it would succeed at least 4 out of 8? A frickin' 1200 exp monsie kicks the hell out of me. Easy to make exp back.
Skill of the day: Combat Sense. Now I have to suck with shop weapons because I can't afford to prot/repair my real weapons every 10 minutes. Lost prot around 3 times when doing exp back at some ant in diggas. From weapons that lasted with one prot longer than Goku and Frieza battled in DBZ (LONG!)... with some 65% Combat Sense. Grr.
Note to self: Idle at Bat 24/7. Apparently people only sell decent long blades when I'm offline. Note to others: Sell me a divine glory or even a blade of death. Or some small-race wielable long blade. Next reinc: Dwarf crimson/ranger. Coming soon to a MUD near you.
Dodge 100%: 12 megs. Parry 100%: 10 megs. Combat Sense 100%: 11.8 megs. Still getting beaten around like a redheaded child: Priceless.
