About the guild:

The Maritime Authority is the entity that processes requests for new captains.
You must own a vessel to join, and then you can choose your path of navy,
pirate, or merchant navy (mnavy). Any background or race can and can enjoy benefit
from owning a ship. Being a sailor means never waiting for a ferry to show up.
Also owning a ship does not have the strain that magical methods of intercontinental
travel incur. Ships can also be outfitted to be more than just methods of
travel.
Where to find it:

From the south crossing of Arelium follow the ocean west to the docks. There
you will find the Maritime Authority who will check your credentials for
joining.
