It's pretty easy to spot robots who run to the QM ring room and back. Even easier when they use that same robot to run out to sea and _mostly_ back. If you find Sinpro's floating corpse, tell him he's got a week to swim to shore.

Balanced Alternative Techniques ry ("B.A.T. ry") has released a fix version to v1.99l of BatMUD's Batclient for all platforms. This version fixes the issue of "not all images being loaded" over https://. As we will turn on the respective server-side functionality shortly, please do update your clients from http://www.bat.org/play/batclient/ as the older version will display placeholder images over your character, not being able to connect to the server properly. Note: "l" stands for last version before Valve Corporation's Steam release of Batclient. (We are about to submit the next version to Steam's final review and the public Steam release of the game. In addition to being on Steam, this version will feature Steam Cloud compatibility for people to be able to play on multiple platforms with their personal settings following you accross.)

The signups for BatMUD's 30th Anniversary Gala have opened. Log in to the game, and visit 'tigger' in the Church of All Gods to sign up. The date is Saturday, April 18th, 2020. The place is Kaivohuone, in Helsinki Finland. More info can be acquired from 'tigger'. Stay tuned for more information.

BatMUD's official game client (Batclient) version 1.99l has been released for all platforms (Windows/Linux/Mac). Please do update your client, as we will start automagically forcing certain SSL (encryption) related features on our website (www.bat.org), which will in turn deprecate some of the functionalities with older client versions. You can acquire the latest version from https://www.bat.org/play/batclient/ and discuss any issues on the in-game client-channel, thank you!
