This quarters maintenance break is planned for 8th April, starting at boot

Let's hope Sinalpha/Sinomega/Sinix/Sinixcn doesn't feel offended if I go off on a tangent, but here's the thing; When you play with fire, you'll get burned. When you play with four characters, you'd better be playing Maniac Mansion. Deus vult!

Floki, Ugliness, Docx, Kknd, Liao, Nevermore and Wildfist have been temporarily banished from the realm for robotting/idle tanking/enabling to robot. The only reason why their names can still be viewed with the finger command is that I'm personally too tired and old for this kind of thing and perhaps there is still some kind of shred of empathy left in me before I'm completely dead inside.

Postponing the maintenance to next week, that is, 21st January

Next maintenance break will be on 14th January, starting at boot. Duration should not exceed 2 hours.

Ho! Ho! Ho! The Powers That Be and The Spirits of Winter Solstice have decreed and once again bestowed bonus experience for all kills during the Holidays. This year, the bonus experience bonanza begins at the boot of Thursday 24th and continues until Sunday. Merry festivities for all!

On a completely unrelated note, due to #metoo-related bugreports, Sven Allapojker has decided that he no longer likes ALL boys, and will be now known as 'Nånavpojker' instead. Schee has also decided what sches pronouns are, and is also 30% less flamboyant to address player concerns on stereotypes. Oh, the other stereotype golems are just as they were, go figure, no complaints received about them!

The Administration is saddened to have learned of the recent passing of Jeffrey "Duke" Williams. A talented programmer, Jeff lived with a passion for gaming. Over the years he contributed substantially to the development of many parts of BatMUD - including the creation of the ranger guild - and making the game better for us all. A grateful community mourns the loss of our Archwizardly friend and colleague. May he rest in peace.
