Notice: The main BatMUD servers will be having a maintenance break on Wednesday, 22-Apr-2009 between 12:15 and 15:30 EET. Effectively, this means that the Game is unavailable during this time window. Our aim with this service outage is to be able to restore the Game state to only 1 hour loss when any future restores are done.

Today is BatMUD's NINETEENTH BIRTHDAY! I want to take this moment to say thank you for every one of you who has participated in playing and developing the game for all of us during all these years! After a mysterious crash and some savefile corruption we're back online, tentatively. I wouldn't take on any epic adventures just now, if losing the gains in a potential mud-wide restore is unacceptable.
