Today's maintenance operations on the BatMUD game servers were successful; the maintenance was aimed to further stabilize BatMUD (to negate a factor, which was related to the last crash). However, we will have to hold a SECOND MAINTENANCE BREAK this Friday 24-Apr-2009 between 12:15 and 14:30 EET. This 2nd maintenance should enable us to restore from a closer point in time, if a crash would occur in the future. Thank you for your support for the cause.

After a mysterious crash and some savefile corruption we're back online, tentatively. I wouldn't take on any epic adventures just now, if losing the gains in a potential mud-wide restore is unacceptable.
