A new version (1.104) of our game client was just released to combat the issues introduced with the implementation of selectable profiles.

Balanced Alternative Techniques ry ("B.A.T. ry") is immensely proud to release v1.103 of it's game client on Steam. As always, all players using the Steam-version will get this new and enhanced update automatically. Please see 'news display updates 1478' for more information on the update.

Errrr October! October! So in little over a week :)

This quarters maintenance break will be on Wednesday 13th November. I'm not expecting it to be any longer than the usual quarterly breaks (should not exceed 2hrs). Starting at boot (noon EET).

And we are back to regular operations, running on the brand new server in the brand new data center. So to simplify: WE ARE IN NORMAL SAVE MODE.

Hear ye, hear ye! Due to our migration to a new data center, BatMUD will enter NO SAVE mode starting from boot, today. What this means is that the backups generated during boot today will be used in 1-2 days to migrate to the new server. Ever wanted to experiment? Now's your chance :)

We'll do the swap to Ixi (see previous inform) tomorrow after boot. This should not take more than a few minutes extra during boot.

Be forewarned, BatMUDs main VM will move to a less-capable server (Ixi) for a few days during next week. This MIGHT cause more lag than usual, but not necessarily. This is a part of our ongoing process of data center relocation.
