### AQ: Rise of the verminkin! ###

494378: The Assassin Adept, cloaked in shadows

1167654: Khalun the skaven warlord, leader of the invasion horde

Khalun grabs his chest in pain and looks at you in disbelief. He falls down to
his knees and grabs his head. A black mist forms and covers his body.

Khalun thunders 'What... my God, no.. NO! You promised me GLORY! You promised
me...'

The Warlord screams in tormented agony as the mist dissolves his flesh! After
this appalling phenomenon, a visage of a gigantic black rat appears before
you. The burning red eyes of the god stare at you and your soul seems bare.
Congratulations! You have just completed Rise of the verminkin!
You receive 54064 gold as a reward for completing the quest.
You receive 8 training points.

  I will not forget ...

With this, the visage is gone.

You hear the sound of toppling stones coming somewhere from the west!
Khalun loses the privilege to live.
Khalun is DEAD, R.I.P.

### Special Explore: Astacia - Before a massive crater. ###

Before a massive crater.
You are standing on a ledge, south from a massive crater hundreds of feet wide
and almost as deep. Deeply black charred rock covers the surface of the crater
and a strange dark glow is everywhere. The crater is otherwise empty, and a
large tunnel, as wide and tall as the crater itself, leads northward. Above
you, the ceiling is ripped open and the ruined city's ravaged buildings lean
in to cover the view. On the ledge, several peculiar plants grow in random
places in apparent chaos.
Above you is a hot, slowly moving, clear sky. A breeze blows around you.
Obvious exits are: s and tunnel.

The sight is amazing. It all seems much clearer now. You receive 47687
experience points.

Tall skaven says 'He was indeed a strong warrior and one of the Horned One's
favourites. But he was but a wheel in the great warp-machinery. He failed his
god, and earned his wrath, as did you. You must now understand that it is
ill-advised to return to this city for a while. He still remembers you, but He
will forget. There are greater things that demand His attention.'
