%Agez lights up the torch and walks forward.

%Baerd says 'My name is Baerd. In the old days i was called Bard the Playful.
But then i grew beard and they started to call me "Baerd the Beard", and so i
decided to keep that stupid donkey of a name. A true Jester's name. Too bad
the Donkey one was taken. I've heard she still lives at city stables.'

%Baerd says 'That very night is all i can remember anymore. Actually it's
mostly the only thing i remember at all. The platinum crescent moon that came
trough the clouds like a bright omen of trust, hunger and lustful despair that
magnetized me to stay and remain nearby the city walls. Near the whores and
all the jesters. My poor kind.'

%Baerd sighs deeply.

%Baerd says 'It was merely a whisper in the wind. A gong trough the chaos, a
brittle ping echoing in my head to remain sane through all this day dreaming
nonsene of becoming the World famous Jester. But unjust manhood i faced every
day. Like the dog faeces on the city streets. No man is good enough for the
King.'

%Baerd stares the torchlight silently for a moment.

%Baerd says 'There was this old whore "Tabaetha" who saw my gloominess every
day. One morning she gave me few silver coins and told me to go outside the
city, find a ferryman at West and hand those coins for a trip to the
mountains, to hear the most legendary poem, a furnanchian tale. A poem that
sets me "ablaze" and free from the chains.'

%Baerd says 'So little i knew.'

%Baerd says 'And then it began. My journey to the unknown. I just sat there
and listened to the ferryman when we rowed the old boat through the dense
fog.'

%Baerd sits down to the wooden chair.

%Baerd says 'through the ferryman's mouth i must speak:'

%Ferryman says 'Jester, I gift you a poem called:'

%Ferryman eyes turn to deep white.

%Ferryman whispers '"At Furnanchian mountains....."'

%Ferryman says '"We yell for a heartbeat,"'

%Ferryman says '"when glooming darkness arrives."'

%Ferryman says '"those tiny lustful, mindless wurms."'

%Ferryman says '"Slither in every corner of you,"'
